Love Wimbledon launched the new Little Market on the Piazza
Friday April 26th saw the launch of an all new market, organised by Love Wimbledon, on The Piazza. Running for two days, 26 & 27th April, the Piazza Market brought hand crafted jewellery, bags, scarves and a wide range of unique gifts. Delicious hot food on offer included seafood paella, chorizo sandwiches, paella, beef chilli, catalan chicken and chicken and vegetable curries. Make sure you don't miss the next one, May 24/25th.
Young Enterprise Fair a success on the Piazza
Young business students from local schools and colleges came together for the Young Enterprise Trade Fair for the first time on the Piazza last Saturday. Students from Merton and neighbouring borough schools participating in this national programme showcased their innovative products, braving the cold conditions on the day. Merton Chamber of Commerce and Love Wimbledon, sponsors of the event, presented awards for Best Trade Stand and Best Overall Winner. Congratulations to all the students who took part.
